ANNOUNCING MGMS 2017

MWEB GameZone has reignited their Masters Series for 2017 with a slight shift in titles.

Things kick off with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and will be followed by Rocket League. After that, there is more variety promised.

Up for grabs in the more focused series will be cash prizes and products, as well as XP towards your standing in our leaderboards.

Registrations for the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (PS4) are now open and are scheduled to close at 8am on 1 July. The double elimination tournament will be a weekend cup over played on 1 and 2 July with the second day’s matches streamed live.

Up for grabs in the tournament is R12,000 as well as vouchers and XP.

  • First Place: R6000 cash + 4000 XP
  • Second Place: R4000 cash + 3200 XP
  • Third Place: R2000 cash + R1000 Raru Vouchers + 2560 XP
  • Fourth Place: R1000 Raru Vouchers + 2240 XP

THE MWEB GAMEZONE MASTERS SERIES RETURNS FOR 2017 

South Africa, 8th June 2017 – MWEB GameZone is pleased to announce that the MWEB GameZone Masters Series (#MGMS2017) is back with a focus on more titles across more platforms than in previous years.

The series of tournaments will be hosted on ACGL and will start with the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare weekend cup for PlayStation 4 in July which will be followed by Rocket League and… more will be revealed over the coming weeks.

This year you can expect to secure cash and product prizes across the various tournaments as well as XP towards your standings in the ACGL leaderboards.

Registrations for the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare tournament are now open and will close at 8am on 1 July. The double elimination weekend cup will run on Saturday 1 July and Sunday 2 July with the matches on day two being streamed live.

Up for grabs in the tournament is R12,000 as well as vouchers and XP.

  • First Place: R6000 cash

  • Third Place: R2000 cash + R1000 Raru Vouchers
  • Fourth Place: R1000 Raru Vouchers
