This weekend sees the first of the 2017 MWEB GameZone Masters Series tournaments in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.

Up for grabs is R12,000 in cash and with over 25 teams registered at the time of writing, the action is expected to be fierce. All the top brands are signed up along with plenty of up-and-comers. For those keen on exciting match-ups we can only hope for a few upsets to ensure for an interesting weekend of action.

Based on current XP standings, it’s likely that Bravado Gaming will take the first seed but there are plenty of teams nipping at their heels still, including the eN 5050 and eN COD teams, as well as the Ventus Gaming team. Some teams may have it a little tougher due to their lack of seeding but with a double elimination bracket ahead of them over 1 and 2 July, chances are pretty good that teams will make the necessary comeback to reach the latter stages of the tournament.

However things pan out, on Sunday 2 July we will be streaming the last three matches of this #MGMS2017 battle for you all to watch. The action will kick off at 5pm and culminate with the grand final scheduled for 8pm.

Over the course of the stream, we will be doing a few giveaways so we would suggest keeping your eye on our Twitter, Facebook, website and YouTube channel for details of how you could win one of five Raru vouchers.

Teams interested in registering for the tournament can still do so until Saturday morning by heading here.
