We’re excited to announce that we will be operating the Kaizer Chiefs Esports Tournament at Rush 2017.
Aspiring and experienced FIFA 17 players are welcome to enter and play for the R20,000 cash up for grabs as well as various products sponsored by Razer.
The tournament is brought to you by Kaizer Chiefs and this inaugural competitive gaming experience which will give gamers a chance to battle it out at the Kaizer Chiefs esports stage at the Rush event at Sandton Convention Centre from 21 to 23 July 2017.
You can expect to meet a number of players and other celebrities over the course of the weekend, as well as see them in action playing FIFA 17.
The tournament will be hosted on PlayStation 4 over a number of heats allowing players to participate in a time slot that suits them. However, it should be noted that each Heat (there are right in total) has a player cap of 40, so registration is essential to secure your preferred slot. Walk-ins will be accepted and allocated a spot (when available) in the next available Heat.
Each Heat will see players compete in a group phase which will ultimately decide the top four per Heat that will need to return on Sunday for the Grand Finals from 12:30pm.
Entry to Rush is free to all registered Kaizer Chiefs Esports Tournament players.
